The engineering students GautamBuddh Technical University, who have to appear in the back paper in some semesters, protested outside the university vice-chancellor's office on Monday.
Majority of these students have completed their final year but have got back paper in one or two semesters.
As a result, these students cannot receive their graduation degree. The students are demanding a special carry over exam so that they can clear all subjects in which they have failed. The students later met the vice-chancellor RK Khandal who assured them of action on the issue within a week.
